And Jesus said “oh, snap!”

From passiveaggressivenotes.com:

"Another sign of the times: Nick in Tampa, Florida says the sodas in his small office used to be free, but now they cost 50 cents. And yet, Nick says, 'when they’re left out unguarded and unsecured, naturally, people steal them.'

"Eventually, one coworker thought instilling the fear of God would make for a good theft-deterrent…which inspired another coworker to quote scripture in protest of the new drink policy."

The Sharks are Out.

And I don't want to talk about it. (sulk)

Mark my words - the team will be eviscerated in the offseason.

Eating Crow

I have officially been proven wrong.

In a good way, of course.

The San Jose Sharks have taken the first series from the Colorado Avalanche, in 6 games, to advance to the Conference Semifinals. Many of us fans had our doubts, given the Sharks' horrendous performance in the first round last year, and a shaky start this playoff series. But those doubts have been put to rest, thanks to a great team effort, and an awesome performance by Joe Pavelski. His play to date has been described as "money", which is most appropriate in my opinion.

Previous to this year's playoffs, Pavelski had been known as Little Joe, due to his smaller size and stature in comparison to Big Joe Thornton. However, in these playoffs, Little Joe has been aptly renamed "The Big Pavelski" thanks to his red-hot scoring and playmaking efforts in these two series to date.

The Sharks have gone up 3-0 in this second-round series against the Detroit Red Wings. A win tonight will allow them to advance to the Conference Finals, for only the second time in their history.
This year, they are ready for that challenge.
This year, they are ready to be champions.

Bring it on.
